AJAX LightCore Dimmer Vertical Smart Light Dimmer

The Ajax LightCore Dimmer Vertical combines smart dimming and lighting control with the AJAX security system. LightSwitch Dimmer provides touch and touchless brightness control (put your hand within 15mm), scheduled lighting, Mobile App control or response activated lighting in event of an intruder alarm. A soft backlight helps users find the panel at night. The dimmer is easy to install, fits standard European back boxes, does not require a neutral wire and connects to the Ajax hub by scanning a QR code.

Light switch is composed of 2 parts, the LightCore Dimmer Vertical relay and a touch panel (sold separately) available in a range of colours.

Vertical installation

LightCore Dimmer Vertical is the version of the LightCore Dimmer made for vertical installations, where switches are fitted one above the other in a vertical frame. It works in the same way as the standard LightCore Dimmer.

Touch panels

The touch panel (sold separately) is the touch sensitive front fascia which controls the LightCore Dimmer. Brightness is adjusted by a long press on the dimming slider, or in the Ajax apps, and the dimmer remembers the level and returns to it the next time the light is switched on. The panel can be tapped, or used contactless by holding your hand closer than 15mm from the fascia. Available as vertical CenterButton and SideButton (Dimmer) panels, in a range of colours.

LightCore Dimmer Vertical

LightCore Dimmer Vertical is the relay component of the LightSwitch Dimmer. It is installed without changing the electrical wiring of the object. The device does not require a neutral wire, a live wire is more than enough.

The dimmer controls dimmable lamps with a power of 8 to 150VA, covering dimmable incandescent and LED lamps, and halogen from 20 to 150VA. If a lamp flickers or does not work with the dimmer, an Ajax Bypass (Dimmer) can be connected.
