By placing an Order and purchasing goods from CCTV Global London Ltd you enter into a legally binding agreement with us on the following Conditions. You should read and understand these Conditions because they affect your rights and liabilities.
These are the Terms and Conditions of Sale for CCTV Global London Ltd.
REGISTRATION
You warrant that: -
The Personal Information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and
You will notify us immediately of any changes to the Personal Information by contacting our Customer Service Representatives by e-mail, or calling us on 01276 537988
You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.
INDEMNITY
You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your shopping account and/or your Personal Information.
OUR RIGHTS
We reserve the right to: -
change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.; and/or

ORDERS
We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
CONTRACT CREATION & ELECTRONIC CONTRACTING
You can place the order for your products over the phone, email, text, SMS, WhatsApp, via ebay, amazon, paypal or directly on the Website. By placing the order with us you agree to accept our terms and conditions.
For web orders you will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions.
We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from CCTV-Global London Ltd.
As your product is shipped from our warehouse we will send you a despatch confirmation email.
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the Products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions in Change or cancel an order.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
The product you ordered being unavailable from stock.
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
The identification of a pricing or product description error.
You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in the main Terms & Conditions.
The market in the goods is such that the specification, description and price of individual goods can change. Wherever it is not possible to accept your order to buy the goods of the specification and description at the price indicated we will advise you by e-mail and offer to sell you the goods of the specification and description at the price stated in the e-mail and will state the period for which the offer or the price remains valid.
The contract will be concluded in English.
DELIVERY
The price of the goods will be subject to Delivery charges.
The costs of carriage and any insurance which you direct us to incur shall be reimbursed by you and shall be due on the date for payment of the price.
The goods shall be delivered by us to your address and the risk in the goods shall pass to you upon such delivery taking place.
You should note that our carrier requires immediate notice to be given of any loss or damage to goods and you should inspect the goods upon receipt and report any loss or damage to the carrier immediately.
Insofar as you report any damage to goods to us within 48 hours of delivery we will refund the price and carriage or replace the goods at no additional cost to you.
In respect of any damage to goods reported to us after 48 hours of delivery we shall require proof from you that the goods were damaged before receipt by you.
We will try to deliver the goods to you within the time estimated for delivery.
If we are unable to do so, we reserve the right to deliver them within 30 days beginning the day after the order is placed by you.
If we are unable to deliver the goods to you within 30 days of the day after the order is placed by you:
we shall inform you by e-mail ;
we shall make a further offer to you by e-mail to sell you the goods of the specification and description at the price stated in the e-mail and will state the period for which the offer or the price remains valid;
unless you accept the offer we will reimburse any sum paid by you or on your behalf under or in relation to the order within a period of 14 days beginning with the day after the day on which the time for delivery expired.
Please refer to our delivery page for further details of delivery costs, estimated delivery times, terms and exclusions. We do not accept any liability whatsoever whether direct or consequential for losses caused by delays in shipping, damaged goods or failure to meet our contractual obligations, We shall not be liable for any delays, loss of any revenues, profits, loss of any contracts or other losses whether direct or indirect.
RIGHT TO CANCEL
Please note that you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish provided that you exercise your right and notify us no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the Products.
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract after your order has already been dispatched, we will refund the original purchase price and delivery charge, provided that you have notified us in writing no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the Products, and that you have taken reasonable care of the Products and not used them. Please follow the procedure set out in our Returns procedure.
Please note that your right to return Products does NOT apply to Products which fall into the following categories unless they are faulty or not as described:
Unsealed CDs, DVDs, tapes or other recording media, software or videos
If you cancel the agreement :
you must return the goods to us at the address given in our Returns Procedure within 14 days of the order cancellation notice.
the goods must be returned to us complete (please note the definition of goods given above) unused or damaged and in the original packaging.
you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us;
you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods (including reusable packaging, manuals etc) until they are returned to us;
you are under a duty to take reasonable care to see that they are received by us and not damaged in transit;
we will reimburse any sum paid by you or on your behalf under or in relation to the agreement including the costs of carriage and any insurance which you directed us to incur;
we will charge you the direct costs to us of recovering any goods supplied by us if you fail to return the goods to us;
Our right of cancellation
If for reasons beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to an inability or failure on the part of the manufacturers or suppliers of the goods to supply the goods to us, we are unable to supply the goods to you, we may cancel the order at any time before the goods are delivered by giving notice to you. We shall promptly repay to you any sums paid by you or on your behalf under or in relation the agreement. We shall not be liable for any other loss or damage whatever arising from such cancellation.
STATUTORY RIGHTS
Your right of cancellation is in addition to your other statutory rights.
PAYMENT & PRICE
Cash Account customers: This is all customers who do not have an approved credit account with us. We shall not be bound to deliver the goods until you have paid for them in full. Payment shall be due when the order is confirmed by you via website, email or phone. Time for payment shall be of the essence. The price due from you is the price indicated as inclusive of value added tax. Payment can be made by BACS, Paypal, Credit Card, Debit Cards or Cash.
Credit Account customers: This is a customer who has an approved credit account with us and is billed by invoice. The Invoice will be issued to you when the goods are dispatched or collected. The price due from you is the price indicated as inclusive of value added tax. The customer shall pay the full sum including VAT by the due date confirmed on the invoice. We understand and will exercise our statutory right to interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms. Payment can be made by BACS, Paypal, Credit Card, Debit Cards or Cash. Payments are allocated to the oldest open invoice first.
Overdue Payments: CCTV Global London Ltd will retain ownership and title of the goods until payment has been received in full. The customer account will placed on stop and no further orders or warranty claims will be processed until all overdue payments are settled in full. We reserve the right to recover outstanding monies and equipment through debt collection agencies and or court claims. We reserve the right to block any services including the customers Hik-Connect service and disable or lock equipment from operating. CCTV Global London Ltd will not be held liable for costs to reinstate any equipment or services nor for any other losses whatsoever whether consequential or not..
WARRANTY
The goods supplied will correspond with the stated description. We guarantee that the goods will be of satisfactory quality when delivered by our carrier.
CCTV Global London branded products carry a 2 year product warranty.
Hikvision brand products carry a 3 year product warranty except for PTZ cameras (2yrs), monitors (1yr) & POE switches (2yrs), access control / intercom (2yrs) or unless specified otherwise.
HiLook brand products carry a 2 year warranty.
Terms and conditions of this contract do not affect any additional rights you may have under a manufacturer's warranty/guarantee. These are rights given to you by the manufacturer in addition to your statutory rights. Any additional rights given to you by the manufacturer in respect of Goods purchased are not incorporated into this contract.
Advice given by us to you
We are always prepared to offer general advice about the goods including advice about applications, installation, configuration, and product upgrades.
We know the general purpose for which you require our goods and we will take reasonable care when giving you any advice.
However without site specific application, specifications and configuration details of any system into which you intend to install our goods we cannot and do not warrant the suitability of any of our goods for your particular purpose.
Your responsibilities
It is your responsibility to ensure compatibility of any goods offered for sale by us both with the existing components within your system and with any other goods offered for sale by us.
It is your responsibility to ensure proper installation of any goods & to ensure the installation complies with the applicable laws.
It is your responsibility to ensure that wherever necessary you access the manufacturers web site to download any necessary product manuals, upgrades & firmware (including drivers and manuals).
You agree to use products & software in compliance with all applicable laws, and you are solely responsible for ensuring that your use conforms to the applicable law. Especially, you are responsible for using this product in a manner that does not Infringe on the rights of third parties, including without limitation, rights of publicity, intellectual property rights, or data protection and other privacy rights.
You are also responsible for using the products & software in accordance with the manufacturers O&M manuals & terms of use.
RETURNS
To return goods you are required to obtain a return authorisation form (RMA) by calling (01276 537988) or emailing us. Goods that are returned without our RMA, are not in their original packaging and not in good condition are excluded and will be rejected by our warehouse.
Cost to return the goods to us is at the expense of the customer except where the RMA is requested within 30 days of the purchase date. It is the customers responsibility to ensure the goods are packaged appropriately to avoid damage by the courier and we strongly recommend the customer takes out appropriate shipping insurance. Return goods damaged in transit will be at the customers liability.
Goods that have items missing cannot be tested or refunded and you will be required to send any missing items to us before we deal with the return.
Any goods with cut cables or any modifications of any kind will be rejected by our warehouse and are not covered under warranty.
Any items that have been blown by an incorrect power supply being used are not covered under warranty.
All warranties exclude product misuse, acts of God i.e. lightening strikes, bulbs, IR LED's, monitor tubes & CCD sensors damaged by normal wear & tear.
CCTV-Global London Ltd does not operate a "sale or return" policy.
Goods that are returned under warranty and found to be operating correctly within specification will be subject to a testing fee of £15 plus return delivery costs to the customer.
Goods that have been authorised for return outside of the 14 day cancellation policy may be subject to a restocking fee.
If your product is found to be faulty it will be repaired by the manufacturer or you will either be offered a replacement (if the product cannot be repaired) or a refund in the first 30 days, after this period you will be eligible for a replacement (if the product cannot be repaired) only.
Cost to return to the customer any replacement or repaired items under warranty will be borne by us, excluding non faulty items.
Advance Replacement
Advance replacements* may be requested by the customer up to 3 months after the date of invoice for non Hikvision branded products and up to 3 years for Hikvision branded products (provided they are still within the manufacturers warranty period) subject to an initial assessment of the described fault by CCTV Global technical team. If the product qualifies, the customer may purchase and pay for an advance replacement product. After receipt of the advance replacement product the customer must return the original product including correct packaging, leads, PSU and connectors etc (use the advance replacement box and accessory contents if necessary).
After the returned product has been tested by CCTV Global or the manufacturer then one of the following will apply:
1. Fault verified: a credit note or refund will be raised against the advance replacement purchase; or
2. No fault found: the product will be returned at the expense of the customer, No credit or refund will be issued for the advance replacement purchase.
Products being returned must be sent back to CCTV Global within 14 days of receipt of the advance replacement product. Any products returned after this time will be subject to our standard warranty repair and returned to the customer. In these circumstances, no credit note will be issued for the advance replacement.
*customised items, PTZ cameras, specialist items, non stocked items and non returnable items are excluded from the advance replacement scheme and will go through the standard warranty repair service.
NETWORKING
CCTV-Global London Ltd is not responsible for networking any DVR or Alarm. If buying a DVR or Alarm please make sure you have a qualified IT person to network the system or install/connect any alarm communications. We cannot be held responsible for failure to network or remote connect and will not accept any product back due to this.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND RIGHT TO USE
You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the Website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us or our licensors.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS
The Website may be used only for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations regarding the Website and any transactions conducted on or through the Website.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the Website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any representation or endorsement made and we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Website, or any transaction that may be conducted on or through the Website including but not limited to, implied warranties of non-infringement, compatibility, security, accuracy, conditions of completeness, or any implied warranty arising from course of dealing or usage or trade.
We make no warranty that the Website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, or reliability of the Website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Website.
To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Products. Products, software, documents, manuals and firmware are provided on "as is" and "with all faults and errors". CCTV Global London Ltd makes no warranties, express or implied, including without limitation, merchantability, satisfactory quality, compatibility, or fitness for a particular purpose. The use of the product by you is at your own risk. In no event will CCTV Global London Ltd be liable to you for any special, consequential, incidental, or indirect damages, including, among others, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, or loss of data, corruption of systems, or loss of documentation, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), product liability, or otherwise, in connection with the use of the product, even if CCTV Global London Ltd has been advised of the possibility of such damages or loss.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your Contract Cancellation Rights.
We will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the Conditions for:
any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or
any loss of goodwill or reputation; or
any special or indirect losses suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under the Conditions.
Nothing in the Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our servants, agents or employees.
SEVERANCE
If any part of the Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from the Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of the Conditions.
WAIVER
No waiver by us shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.
SURVIVAL
Each provision of the Conditions shall be construed as separately applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable in any circumstances.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Conditions govern our relationship with you. In this way, we can avoid any problems surrounding what CCTV-Global London Ltd and you are expected to do. You confirm that, in agreeing to accept the Conditions, you have not relied on any representation save insofar as the same has expressly been made a term of these Conditions and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any representation. Your Statutory Rights are not affected by these terms and conditions. Nothing in this Clause shall limit or exclude our liability in respect of any fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation whether or not such has become a term of the Conditions.
LAW
The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
